Tammy focuses on chapter 11 business bankruptcy, recognizing and restructuring. 

She represents international, national and regional clients, including debtors, official and ad hoc committees, asset purchasers, debtor-in-possession (DIP) lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, petitioning creditors in involuntary bankruptcy filings, and other parties in interest.

Tammy has been included in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her work in bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law.

Experience

Co-counsel representing workspace solutions company Knotel, Inc., in its cross-border chapter 11 cases pursuing a going concern sale of its assets.

Counsel to True Health Group LLC.  Steered medical testing firm through chapter 11 to court approval.

Co-counsel to The Boston Herald, Inc. and its affiliates, which operated a historic newspaper based in Boston, Massachusetts, with their chapter 11 proceedings, including assisting in in successfully achieving the sale of the Debtors’ assets in a 363 bankruptcy sale, more than doubling the initial bid at a competitive auction.

Counsel to start up Tamara Mellon Brand, LLC as debtors’ counsel in a pre-packaged plan of reorganization to achieve a new capital infusion from a large venture capital fund.

Co-counsel to Nortel Networks, Inc. and certain of its affiliates in connection with their chapter 11 proceedings, including assisting with and coordinating a cross-border bankruptcy trial to allocate the proceeds of the sales of more than $7 billion in assets and intellectual property between Nortel entities in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Counsel to Premium Transportation Services, Inc. in connection with its chapter 11 proceeding.

Represented the Reorganized Debtors of Syms Corp. and Filene’s Basement in numerous multimillion dollar asset sales and litigated numerous matters reducing the claims against the Reorganized Debtors by multiple millions of dollars.

Counsel to the Foreign Representative of Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology Korea Corporation (“TSST-K”) in its Chapter 15 bankruptcy filing in the United States. TSST-K was a Korean joint venture between Toshiba and Samsung that manufactured and sold optical disc devices (e.g., CD-ROM/DVD). At its high point, TSST-K had revenue of approximately $1.8 billion.

Counsel to Security National Properties Funding III, LLC and certain of its affiliates in connection with their chapter 11 proceedings, including advising on the transfer of government leases in connection with a $165 million refinancing transaction.
