Morris Nichols Recognized by The Deal European Awards

Wilmington, DE (November 2, 2018) - Yesterday, The Deal presented its inaugural European awards honoring the most significant cross-border transactions from the past year and the leading M&A dealmakers.

Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP was recognized as a member of the Bayer AG team involved in the company’s acquisition of Monsanto Co. The $66 billion transaction was awarded “Deal of the Year.” Morris Nichols partner David Harris served as outside counsel, advising on certain aspects of internal restructuring and financing in advance of the blockbuster merger creating one of the world’s largest agrochemical companies.

The Deal provides actionable, intraday coverage of mergers, acquisitions and all other changes in corporate control to institutional investors, private equity, hedge funds and the firms that serve them. The Deal Awards process began with hundreds of peer nominations, across dozens of cross-border categories.
