Third Annual Symposium on Corporate Law at U.C. Berkeley

U.C. Berkeley Law and Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz present the Third Annual Symposium on Corporate Law from October 11 to 12, 2018 in San Francisco. Morris Nichols partner Bill Lafferty will speak on the Day 2 panel with Chancellor Bouchard, "Focus on the Board."

This two-day, multi-panel event will explore the development of corporate law, the evolving relationships between corporate stakeholders, M&A and what corporate lawmaking may look like in the future. Day 1 will feature welcoming remarks from the co-chairs, interviews with keynote speakers John Carreyrou and Bethany McLean, and panels on hot topics in corporate lawmaking and corporate governance, including comments with Chancellor Andre Bouchard and SEC Commissioner Robert Jackson. Day 2 will feature three additional panels on the future of the board, ESG and impact investing, and the tech sector governance and deal making, including comments from Chief Justice Leo Strine and Allison Bennington.
