Steve is an intellectual property litigator, focused on patent disputes before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.

Steve has been involved in all phases of litigation, including fact discovery, motions practice, expert discovery, trial, and appeal.  His IP experience includes patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright litigation. 

In addition to his litigation practice, Steve devotes time to pro bono matters, such as representing petitioners in Protection From Abuse (“PFA”) hearings, and representing plaintiffs in matters referred by the District of Delaware’s Federal Civil Panel. 

In law school, Steve wrote on the Temple Law Review.  Prior to his legal career, Steve gained valuable technical experience as an electrical engineer, designing circuits related to traffic control systems.

  • Represented defendant as member of lead counsel team in two patent infringement litigations relating to real-time PCR technology and thermocyclers.  Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. v.   • Represented defendant as member of lead counsel team in patent infringement litigation relating to various telephone features.  Callwave Communications LLC v. Sprint Spectrum L.P., C.A. No. 12-1702-RGA (D. Del.)
  • Represented co-plaintiff as member of lead counsel team in patent infringement case involving Ampyra®.  Acorda Therapeutics Inc. and Alkermes Pharma Ireland Ltd. V. Alkem Labs. Ltd., C.A. No. 14-882-LPS (D. Del.). 
  • Represented plaintiff pharmaceutical company through trial in Hatch-Waxman patent infringement litigation.  Noven Pharmaceuticals Inc. v. Actavis Laboratories UT Inc., C.A. No. 15-249-LPS (D. Del.).
  • Represented plaintiff pharmaceutical company through trial in patent infringement litigation.  Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. v. Actavis LLC, C.A. No. 14-1381-RGA (D. Del.).
