Michelle is an associate with the Intellectual Property Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on patent, copyright, and trademark cases encompassing many areas of technology.
Before joining Morris Nichols, Michelle served as a law clerk to the Honorable Christopher J. Burke of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware and as an extern to the Honorable Sue L. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
In law school, Michelle served as lead editor of the Drexel Law Review. She won several writing competitions, resulting in her work being published in well-known industry periodicals. She was a Board Member of the Drexel Moot Court Team and competed in several moot court competitions, including the American Intellectual Property Law Association (“AIPLA”) Giles Rich Sutherland Moot Court Competition, the Albert R. Mugel National Tax Moot Court Competition (awarded Best Oral Advocate, Overall Champion, and Second Place Brief), and the Nell Hennessey Moot Court Competition (awarded Best Oral Advocate, Overall Champion, and Best Brief). Also during law school, she was a recipient of the Ben Franklin Inn of Court scholarship award, following her participation in the organization’s annual mock oral argument.
Prior to her legal career, Michelle worked in the property management and real estate sector. She gained valuable business experience as a property and asset manager.
