Gregory Werkheiser Appointed Co-Chair of Appeals Subcommittee for ABA Section of Litigation Bankruptcy & Insolvency Committee

Wilmington, DE (September 26, 2012) - Gregory W. Werkheiser, Morris Nichols Business Reorganization & Restructuring Group partner, has been appointed co-chair of the Appeals Subcommittee for the American Bar Association Section of Litigation Bankruptcy and Insolvency Committee.

The Bankruptcy and Insolvency Litigation Committee is made up of experienced bankruptcy litigators nationwide, working to keep bankruptcy litigators fully up-to-date on the substantive and procedural aspects of bankruptcy litigation—both in the bankruptcy courts and in state or federal courts to the extent affected by bankruptcy and insolvency laws—including the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques in bankruptcy, seminal work in developing model bankruptcy pro bono programs, the impact of bankruptcy on pending complex civil litigation, ethics, and model jury instructions for preference and fraudulent transfer actions.
