Thomas Pulsifer and Todd Flubacher Present at 2008 Delaware Trust Conference

Wilmington, DE – December 11, 2008 – Thomas Pulsifer and Todd Flubacher, partners in the Trusts, Estates and Tax Group, were presenters at the 2008 Delaware Trust Conference held at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware on December 3 – 5.
Todd served as Discussion leader on Delaware Incomplete Non-Grantor Trusts (DINGS), a discussion of Delaware Incomplete - Gift, Non-Grantor Trusts including the IRS News Release IR 2007-127, planning opportunities, and drafting and structuring considerations.
Tom served as a Guest Speaker and presented on The Delaware Decanting Statute.
The 2008 Delaware Trust Conference focused on the unique aspects of the Delaware trust industry. The Honorable Ruth Ann Minner, Governor of the State of Delaware, Justice Henry du Pont Ridgely, Delaware Supreme Court and The Honorable Robert Glen, Bank Commissioner, State of Delaware joined over 50 national and international trusts, legal and accounting experts who presented at this year’s Conference.
About the Presenters
Tom Pulsifer is Past Chair, Estates and Trusts Section of the Delaware Bar Association and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. His practice is concentrated in the areas of trust law, estate planning, state and federal income tax law, and the taxation of exempt organizations. Tom’s practice includes advising institutional fiduciaries on matters of Delaware trust law, and individuals and institutions regarding Delaware trust law litigation and the establishment and administration of Delaware trusts, public charities and private foundations.
Todd Flubacher is the former Chair, Estates and Trusts Section of Delaware State Bar Association (2004-2005) and former Chair, Taxation Section of Delaware State Bar Association (2007-2008). He represents numerous institutional fiduciaries in the areas of Delaware trust law, trust operations, state taxation, and estate and gift taxation. Todd’s practice emphasizes the unique aspects of Delaware trust law, including asset protection trusts, dynasty trusts, deferred income charitable remainder trusts, conflicts of laws and choice of Delaware law and all aspects of the validity, construction and administration of Delaware trusts.
