Robert Dehney and Eric Schwartz Serve as Panelists at Distressed Retail Summit 2008

Wilmington, DE – Robert Dehney and Eric Schwartz, partners in the Business Reorganization and Restructuring Group, participated as featured panelists at the Distressed Retail Summit 2008: Turnarounds, Restructurings, Bankruptcies & Distressed Investing Conference held in New York City on October 15-17.
Rob served as a speaker on Distressed Retail in a New Era, a panel that explored how the current economic climate affects strategies of retail businesses attempting to reorganize. Eric served as a speaker on Pre-Filing Financial Strategies in a New Era of Retail Distress, a panel that discussed strategies for retailers entering bankruptcy and the keys to successful out-of-court settlements.
Both panels also included the Managing Director and Co-head of Restructuring Group from Peter J. Solomon Company, the Executive Vice President, Division Manager, for Wells Fargo Retail Finance, the President of Consensus Advisories LLC, the Managing Director for Macquarie Capital Advisors, the Managing Partner from AlixPartners LLP, the Managing Director from Lazard Freres & Co. LLC, and the Executive Vice President from Hilco Merchant Resources.
Rob and Eric were part of the Morris Nichols team that was recently recognized for its substantial contribution to Hancock Fabrics’ successful Chapter 11 reorganization – one of the only national retailers to emerge successfully from bankruptcy as a reorganized entity since enactment of the new bankruptcy amendments in 2005.
