Lawdragon Names Three Morris Nichols Attorneys Among Top 500 Lawyers in America; Ten Selected as 2008 Finalists

Wilmington, DE – October 20, 2008 – Morris Nichols partners Rick Alexander, Bill Lafferty and Ken Nachbar have been named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America 2008 guide, an independent listing of the nation’s most elite attorneys. Morris Nichols is the only Delaware law firm with more than two honorees. Ten attorneys were also named as 2008 Lawdragon Finalists. 

Less than one-half of one percent of all lawyers in the U.S. are named to the Lawdragon 500. The guide annually lists the practitioners, judges and academics that are handling the biggest cases and deals, and making the greatest impact on the law. The Lawdragon Finalists are the 3,000 lawyers from which each year’s 500 are selected.

Alexander was recognized for his Delaware general corporate law efforts, Lafferty for his M&A work, and Nachbar for his successes in huge securities cases.
