William Sudell, Gregory Werkheiser Serve as Panelists at Delaware Bankruptcy Court and Federal Bar Association Seminar

Wilmington, DE – September 16, 2008 – William Sudell and Gregory Werkheiser, members in the Business Reorganization and Restructuring Group at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP served as panelists before a packed house of over 180 attendees at a special CLE seminar and social event co-sponsored by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and the Delaware Chapter of the Federal Bar Association held in Wilmington, Delaware on September 11, 2008.  Wilbur L. Ross, Jr., the renowned American investor known for restructuring failed companies, was the Keynote Speaker.
 
Mr. Sudell participated in a panel discussion of attorney-client privilege issues in parent-subsidiary matters, with a focus on the Delaware Bankruptcy Court’s recent remand opinion and the Third Circuit's opinion in Teleglobe v. BCE. Mr. Werkheiser’s panel discussed the issues related to the treatment of intellectual property licenses and other intellectual property interests in bankruptcy, including their transferability and the effect of a licensor’s bankruptcy filing on a licensee’s continued access to and use of intellectual property.
