Megan Ward Cascio Elected To Partnership

Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell, LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Megan Ward Cascio has become a partner in the firm as of January 1, 2007.
Ms. Cascio, a member of the Corporate and Business Litigation Group, focuses her practice primarily on complex corporate litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. She handles a wide range of matters including shareholder disputes, derivative actions, breach of fiduciary duty lawsuits and disputes resulting from mergers and acquisitions. She also represents clients in environmental litigation and enforcement actions before administrative agencies and the state and federal courts, and advises clients on environmental compliance and environmental aspects of business transactions, land use and real estate.
A summa cum laude graduate of Washington College, and a magna cum laude graduate of Washington & Lee University School of Law, Ms. Cascio was the Articles Editor of the Washington & Lee Law Review. She began her legal career at Morris Nichols in 1997 as a Summer Associate, and joined the firm as an Associate upon graduation from law school in 1998.
Ms. Cascio represents minor children as a guardian ad litem in the Delaware Family Court through the Office of the Child Advocate. She also has performed a variety of pro bono work through Delaware Volunteer Legal Services.
