Morris Nichols 2nd in the Nation for Number of Patent Cases Filed

Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP has again been named to the “short list” of law firms that lead the country in the field of intellectual property litigation.  According to national legal publisher IP Law & Business, Morris Nichols ranked second nationally in the number of patent cases filed in 2005, improving its score from the previous year’s fifth-place finish.  In terms of the number of total appearances in patent litigation cases filed in 2005, Morris  Nichols ranked fifth nationally, moving the firm up two notches beyond its seventh place finish in 2004. 

Morris Nichols has remained a fixture on the list since the survey was initiated five years ago.  Its strengths in patent litigation are well-recognized; attorneys in the IP Litigation Practice Group have collectively and individually been honored for their work by such prestigious organizations as Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America.
