Rick Alexander Speaks at 14th Annual National Institute on Negotiating Business Acquisitions

Wilmington, DE – December 16, 2009 – Morris Nichols corporate law and M&A partner Rick Alexander served as a featured panelist on two panels – Acquiring a Public Company and The Changing M&A Landscape:  Trends and Recent Developments – at the 14th Annual National Institute on Negotiating Business Acquisitions presented by the ABA Section of Business Law, in New Orleans, LA.

The two-day National Institute provided expert perspective on all facets of the acquisition process, including techniques used in structuring and negotiating M&A deals, the tax and securities aspects of business acquisitions, and the impact of recent legal and regulatory developments on M&A transactions.

This National Institute also included an extensive mock negotiation that gave valuable insights on negotiating key representations, warranties, closing conditions and indemnification provisions in an acquisition agreement.
