Derek Abbott Speaks at 5th Annual ABI Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Conference – Capital Markets: Making Bricks without Straw

Wilmington, DE – August 17, 2009 – Morris Nichols’ Business Reorganization and Restructuring partner Derek Abbott served as a panel speaker for Capital Markets: Making Bricks without Straw at the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Conference held on August 6-8, 2009 in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Derek’s panel discussed how deals are getting done notwithstanding the scarcity of DIP and emergency financing.  Among the distinguished panelists who joined Derek were moderator, Honorable Kevin Gross, U.S. Bankruptcy Court (D. Del), Geraldine Ponto, Gibbons P.C. and Scott Victor, SSG Capital Advisors, LLC.   Nearly 200 attendees attended this year’s Conference that featured 10 bankruptcy judges among the presenting faculty.
