Taiwan Corporate Governance Association’s 2015 International Summit on Corporate Governance

Morris Nichols partner John DiTomo will serve as keynote speaker at the Taiwan Corporate Governance Association (TCGA) 11^th International Summit on Corporate Governance from November 5-6, 2015.

John’s keynote address, “Selected Principles for an Efficient Regulation of the Internal Affairs of Corporations - A Delaware Example,” will provide a brief synopsis of Delaware’s court system and some of the features which have made it emerge as the leading domicile for U.S. and international corporations.  He will also discuss Unocal Corp. v. Mesa Petroleum Co., 493 A.2d 946 (Del. 1985) to demonstrate how the three principles for the efficient regulation of the internal affairs of corporations are observable from Delaware’s jurisprudence.
