Director of Finance
Morris Nichols is currently seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all aspects relating to the financial affairs of the operations of the Firm’s Accounting Department and ensure that its resources are aligned with the Firm’s strategic objectives to facilitate the delivery of legal services. This person will provide the vision and leadership to develop and manage the Firm’s financial plan. He/she will coordinate and direct financial-related activities that include developing and implementing processes and procedures as well as managing the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
IT Litigation Support Specialist
Morris Nichols has an opening for an IT Litigation Support Specialist supporting the Firm, its co-counsel and clients on preferred methods of automating litigation. The individual will interface regularly with the IT department, in-house counsel, case teams and outside vendors to ensure data collection needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Minimum amount of after-hours desktop assistance required. Trial support experience helpful. The successful candidate will work Monday thru Friday from 2PM-10PM with flexibility for paid overtime.
Commercial/Real Estate Paralegal
Morris Nichols has an opening for a paralegal supporting attorneys in the Firm’s Commercial/Real Estate Practice Groups. The successful candidate must have knowledge of Delaware recording procedures on State and County levels and effectively interface with clients, lenders, realtors, utility companies and tax offices. The individual must have at least 3+ years experience in commercial transactions and be able to read and interpret title abstracts, surveys, land plan. Computer expertise in Microsoft Word, SoftPro and Deed Plotter. Typing requirement is 65 wpm. High math aptitude and strong interpersonal skills. A four-year degree and paralegal certificate are required.
