Rick is a member of both the Corporate and Business and Intellectual Property Litigation Groups. His practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial and corporate litigation. Rick has represented clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including corporate, contract, environmental, trade secret, patent and insurance litigation, and has extensive trial experience in such matters.

According to national legal publisher IP Law & Business, Morris Nichols ranked second nationally in the number of patent cases filed in 2005, improving its score from the previous year’s fifth-place finish.
Professional and Community Activities
- Rick has served on the Third Circuit Lawyer's Advisory Committee, certain Bar Association Committees, some ad hoc committees of the courts, as a member of the Inns of Court and on the executive committee of several clubs and organizations.
