Derek is a member of the Business Reorganization and Restructuring and Corporate and Business Litigation Groups. Derek has been involved in bankruptcy proceedings and litigation on behalf of a variety of clients, including debtors, creditors and official committees.
Derek is a member of the Delaware and American Bar Associations and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has been active through Delaware Volunteer Legal Services in assisting a variety of indigent clients with legal matters, most often in the Family Court. He has also assisted Delaware's Legal Services Community with its fundraising activities.
