Mr. Black is of counsel to the Delaware Corporate Law Counseling Group. He is the co-author of Delaware Corporation Law and Practice, a leading treatise on Delaware corporation law. He wrote a monograph entitled "Why Corporations Choose Delaware" that is widely distributed by the Division of Corporations of the Delaware Department of State, including translations in Chinese and Japanese. He served as chairman of the Federal Regulation of Securities Committee of the American Bar Association and on the governing body of its Business Law Section and the Delaware Bar Association's Corporation Law Section. He also served on the legal advisory committee to the New York Stock Exchange. He is a member of the editorial advisory boards of the Journal of Corporation Law and the Securities Regulation and Law Report.
