Tom is a member of the Intellectual Property and Corporate and Business Litigation Groups. He is an experienced trial lawyer, with a practice concentrated in the areas of intellectual property and general business litigation.
Tom has represented predominately corporate clients, including in recent years Georgia-Pacific, QUALCOMM, Sony, Honeywell, Ameritech, Visteon, Advanced Energy, and Youbet.com in diverse areas of litigation, including complex contract and other commercial disputes, as well as patents and trademarks. For example, as lead counsel, Tom represented QUALCOMM against Texas Instruments in a breach of patent license dispute, represented Ameritech in a cellular partnership dispute, and represented Advanced Energy in a patent infringement suit. With over twenty years of trial experience in the Delaware courts, Tom has been involved in approximately thirty trials, including some ten jury trials.
