Brenda R. Mayrack is an associate with the Commercial Law Counseling Group where her practice focuses on unclaimed property, administrative, commercial and insurance law, and government entities and regulation. She advises Fortune 500 companies and other holders on unclaimed property issues in connection with examinations as well as voluntary compliance efforts. Brenda helped craft the 2009 amendments to Delaware’s unclaimed property statutes and has co-authored several articles about Delaware’s unclaimed property laws. She also represents clients before the Delaware Public Service Commission and Delaware Insurance Commissioner.
Brenda is the former executive director of the Delaware Democratic Party and was the campaign manager for the successful bid of John Carney for Lieutenant Governor. She remains active in Democratic politics, providing advice and assistance to statewide and legislative campaigns in Delaware. She also serves as a guardian ad litem, representing the interests of children in the foster care system through the Office of the Child Advocate of the State of Delaware.
